The daycare’s own exchange platform!
It is particularly important for us that parents can reliably reach, exchange and coordinate with one another.
Since we don’t always meet, digital aids are proven and useful!
In recent years, however, there have been repeated problems in keeping the address data up to date and ensuring the completeness of the address lists. Since our distribution lists were maintained on external systems, there was also room for improvement in terms of data protection.
In order to make it as easy as possible for all parents in the future, we are now offering our own exchange platform (“Nextcloud”), which we operate as an association ourselves with the help of a service provider. With the corresponding app and a one-time registration, you can now reach all other registered people and parents in the daycare.
Both group and individual chat are available to you. Calls are also possible via the app.
- Using our platform eliminates the need to maintain the former mailing lists.
- It is no longer necessary to exchange your email addresses or telephone numbers.
- The correctness of the contact details is guaranteed by the self-registration of the parents.
- The solution also guarantees a higher level of data protection

The initial activation is done by our IT coordinator after the application. Since we do everything on a voluntary basis, we allow a little time for the activation! As soon as the application has been checked, you will receive an access link by email with which you can set your password.

When you start the app for the first time, select “cloud.hirtenkinder.de” as the server and enter your account data.
If you have any questions, the IT coordinators are ready to help. They also have thier own mailbox: firstname.lastname@example.org.
